United Sports of America
Youth Flag Football Refund Policy
Review refund eligibility, registration deadlines, committed costs, cancellations, transfers, and how to request a refund or credit review.
United Sports of America works to provide a well organized and positive flag football experience for players and families. Registration fees help cover costs that are committed before the season begins, including field rentals, uniforms, equipment, officials, staffing, insurance, scheduling, administration, and other program expenses.
Important: Once registration closes and teams, uniforms, fields, schedules, and other program resources have been committed, registration fees are generally nonrefundable.
Refund Eligibility
Participants who withdraw before the published registration deadline may request a refund.
Approved refunds may be reduced by nonrefundable registration platform fees, payment processing fees, uniform costs, or other third party charges already incurred.
After Registration Closes
Once registration closes, registration fees are generally nonrefundable.
By this point, United Sports of America may have already committed funds and resources based on player enrollment, including roster spots, uniforms, field rentals, officials, staffing, equipment, scheduling, insurance, and league administration.
Refunds will not normally be issued because of:
- Schedule conflicts
- Practice or game times
- Team placement
- Coach assignment
- Buddy or teammate requests
- Field location or field preference
- Field type or playing surface preference
- Parking, seating, lighting, or facility amenities
- Travel distance
- Uniform sizing
- Changes in a family's personal schedule
- A participant deciding not to play
- Missing practices or games
Registration does not guarantee placement with a particular coach, team, friend, school, NFL team name, or requested group.
Uniforms and Committed Costs
Uniforms may be ordered before the season begins based on registered player information.
Once a uniform has been ordered for a participant, the uniform portion of the registration fee is nonrefundable, even if the participant later withdraws from the program.
Other costs already committed on behalf of a participant may also be deducted from any approved refund or credit.
Schedules, Fields, and Division Changes
Published schedules, locations, field assignments, practice times, and game times are subject to change based on permits, facility availability, enrollment, staffing, weather, league operations, and other circumstances.
United Sports of America may combine, divide, restructure, or adjust teams or divisions based on enrollment, competitive balance, staffing, field availability, or operational needs.
These changes do not automatically qualify a participant for a refund.
League Communications
Families are responsible for reviewing program information made reasonably available through registration materials, league emails, website pages, Season Guides, schedules, and other league communications.
Refunds will not normally be issued because a participant or family did not review information that was communicated or published before or during the season.
Season Start
Once the season has started, including a scheduled Meet Your Team event, kickoff event, practice, scrimmage, or game, registration fees are generally nonrefundable.
A participant who chooses not to attend or continue participating after the season begins is not automatically entitled to a refund.
Medical Circumstances
United Sports of America may review refund or future season credit requests involving a documented medical condition or injury that prevents a participant from continuing for the remainder of the season.
Documentation from a licensed medical provider may be requested.
Any refund or credit is determined on a case by case basis and may be reduced by expenses already incurred on behalf of the participant.
Program or Division Cancellation
If United Sports of America cancels an entire program or division and cannot provide a reasonable alternative, United Sports of America may offer one or more of the following:
- Transfer to another available division or league location
- Credit toward a future United Sports of America program
- Refund of eligible registration fees
Nonrefundable third party charges may not be included in the refund.
Weather and Facility Interruptions
Flag football is an outdoor sport. Practices and games may be delayed, relocated, rescheduled, shortened, or canceled because of weather, air quality, facility restrictions, field closures, permit issues, emergencies, or other circumstances outside the league's control.
United Sports of America may reschedule affected activities when reasonably possible.
Makeup games, practices, or equivalent replacement dates are not guaranteed.
Weather related or facility related schedule changes do not automatically qualify a participant for a refund.
Transfers
When space is available, United Sports of America may allow a participant to transfer to another team, division, or league location.
Transfers are subject to roster availability, grade and age eligibility, scheduling, and operational capacity.
Any difference in registration price may apply.
Exceptional Circumstances
United Sports of America understands that unexpected circumstances happen.
Exceptional refund or account credit requests may be reviewed individually. Approval of an exception for one participant does not change this policy or establish eligibility for other participants.
Refund Request Deadline
Refund or credit requests should be submitted promptly after the circumstances giving rise to the request.
Requests submitted after the conclusion of the season will generally not be considered.
Payment Disputes
Families with billing or refund concerns are encouraged to contact United Sports of America before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so the league has an opportunity to review and resolve the matter.
How to Request a Refund Review
Refund or credit requests must be submitted in writing to:
Please include:
- Participant name

United Sports of America will review requests based on the timing of the request, roster status, uniform status, expenses already committed, and the circumstances involved.
