United Sports Coaches

Coach Code of Conduct

Standards for sportsmanship, safety, respect, and creating a positive experience for every player.

Coach Expectations

Lead by Example

United Sports coaches are expected to create a positive, safe, and respectful environment at practices and games.

  • Treat players, families, officials, opponents, and other coaches with respect.
  • Keep youth sports focused on learning, participation, teamwork, and fun.
  • Give players meaningful opportunities to participate and develop.
  • Respect game officials and handle disagreements calmly and professionally.
  • Know and follow the rules, safety procedures, and league instructions.
  • Encourage players to compete with effort, sportsmanship, and respect.

Sideline Conduct

Keep the Environment Positive

Coaches set the tone for players and families. Arguing calls, inappropriate language, threatening behavior, or escalating conflicts is not acceptable. Larger concerns should be brought to United Sports staff.

Coach Responsibility

Follow League Requirements

Coaches are responsible for following United Sports policies and completing all required coaching steps before participating.
